Just love these canny beasts – you too? Maybe it’s their individual personalities or maybe its something else – I just felt compelled to make them the focus of my new series.
What better place to launch the series than Glasgow International Highland Cattle Show – Sunday 24 August at Pollock Park, Glasgow.
This will be a day of firsts. First prize rosettes for each best of class in the judging ring. It’s the first time Glasgow Council combine this event with Pollock Park Family Day. It’s the first time the new Highland Coo Series shows to the public at an event of this kind.
So, if you fancy a walk in the park next Sunday, to see the real coos as well as my painted ones – how about stopping by at our stall. We’ll be in the tent right opposite the Burrell Collection gallery. Please do stop and say hello. It’s expected to be a great family day out. 10.30 am – 4.30 pm
My sister, Audrey will also have some of her gorgeous slumped glass coos available.
There’s a chance to buy cards, wee mini prints as well as bigger ones.
Look out for the competitions too – just setting those up next.
See you there …
